Arcteq is launching a new firmware version for its AQ 250 series of protection and control IEDs. This new release makes the world’s most accurate protection relays even better.
The new features include, among others, user-selectable IEC 61850 Ed. 2 or Ed. 1 communications, PTP/IEEE 1588 time synchronization, Modbus-to-IEC 61850 gateway software, and new and enhanced generator protection functions. The release also includes completely new product variants for capacitor bank protection, as well as single-phase tripping and reclosing applications.
The updated 7-inch color display includes new, more visual color themes and a high-resolution synchronoscope for the synchronizer.
